STYLISH CLASSIC – IN CONTEMPORARY INTERPRETATIONS.
That is the principle behind every frame. The creative brain behind the perfect simplicity of our eyewear is Michael Fux. In his role as Managing Director and Designer, he designs new models, incorporating and refining technical innovations as he does so. At Lunor, we refuse to slavishly follow fashion.
Instead, we aim for careful restraint. Short-lived trends and flashy branding are not part of our philosophy.
HANDMADE IN GERMANY.
Handmade in Germany: We have manufactured our eyewear in Germany since the company was founded. Our longstanding collaboration with manufacturers in the south of Germany is an important part of our recipe for success. Each frame requires up to 200 precise stages, most of which involve painstaking work by hand. From the first sketch to the final polish by hand, all models are made in Germany – except for titanium frames, which are produced in Japan due to the high level of expertise available there. All components are manufactured exclusively for Lunor. We never use mass-produced parts. Our high standards demand individual solutions.
And time! From beginning to ending of the production process it can take up to 8 weeks.
PREMIUM QUALITY – IN EVERY DETAIL
This principle defines our daily work. Carefully selected materials, meticulous craftsmanship, constant development and highly qualified employees. Before they are delivered, all our frames are checked, adjusted, and polished to a high sheen by our expert opticians in the southern German village of Althengstett.
